TOUR DESCRIPTION:

Departure from the pick-up point in Piacenza. You will leave in the direction of San Nicolò, where you will stop over at the “Salumificio Artigianale” and taste typical local meals.

The tour continues to Borgonovo, in the Tidone Valley. The municipality was founded in 1196 in order to defend the region from enemy attack.

Even nowadays the fortress, which is surrounded by a deep moat, towers over the whole town. Transfer to the “Enoteca Valtidone”, guided tour of the cellar, wine tasting (visit to the “Barricaia” only for groups of at least 30 people).

Lunch in a Typical “trattoria”. After a short visit of the town, you will head to Agazzano, a nice small village in the hills of Tidone Valley, where you will see the castle and the Scottis’ fortress.

Transfer back to Piacenza.
